Artistic Director of the Marcel Proust Musical Days and winner of international competitions including the ARD competition in Munich, Anne-Lise Gastaldi is notably the pianist of the “Trio George Sand”. Her passion for literature has led her to perform with Loïc Corbery, Anny Duperey, Marianne Denicourt, Clément Hervieu-Léger, Michaël Lonsdale, Benoît Poelvoorde, Didier Sandre, and others. A laureate of the prestigious “Villa Médicis Hors les Murs” program, she was the originator of the show “Roman Stopovers”, recounting the history of the Prix de Rome in musical composition. Her discography, primarily dedicated to chamber music – including works by Fauré, Ravel, Schumann, Stravinsky – has been awarded in Classica, Le Monde de la Musique, Diapason, and Télérama. Her latest album, dedicated to Gustav Mahler, was released under the Elstir label in partnership with the Mahler Music Library, the Mahler Foundation, the Royaumont Foundation, and France Musique. A pedagogy professor at the CNSMD of Paris, where she is also an assistant in Florent Boffard’s piano class, Anne-Lise Gastaldi also teaches piano at the CRR of Paris. Together with Valérie Haluk, she initiated the Piano Project and later Univers Parallèles, collections of piano pieces written specifically for students by prominent composers such as Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, or Bruno Mantovani. Anne-Lise Gastaldi is also the artistic director of the ClassicaVal Festival in Val d’Isère and a collection director at Editions Billaudot.
